“From challenge, comes change.”
For International Women’s Day this year, the theme is #ChooseToChallenge. (IWD) We can all choose to challenge and call out gender bias and inequality. We can all choose to seek out and celebrate women’s achievements. Collectively, we can all help create an inclusive world. We spoke back in September about how BIPOC women have been disproportionately affected by COVID-19 layoffs. (PeopleLift Blog) We’re proud to say, as a small business, we worked to bring more women into our team, full-time.
PeopleLift is now over 50% women. That’s right, 59% of our company, as of March 2021, are women. We’ve grown significantly over the past year and we’ve added many valuable members to our team and a lot of those members are wonderful, intelligent, and powerful women.
